Andrew was raised in the small town of Cambridge, Wisconsin.  Drawing at a young age he immediately began putting his interests on paper.  He took basic art courses in high school, submitting in local drawing contests and attending larger art competitions, but never received any formal schooling for his talent.  Eventually his interest was solidified in charcoal.  Charcoal allowed him to capture great shadow, detail, and depth in his work.

  In 2008, Andrew was driven to join the military.  He had his eye being a Navy Deep Sea Diver. He began training in July of 2008 and completed the arduous course in April of 2009. Soon, artistic skills were recognized by his peers and he started selling work to members of his unit. Eventually Andrew started making prints of his work, and catered to fellow members of Elite Units in the military.
